Today I wanted to share with you my new lines of stationery, handbags & travel accessories I did in collaboration with the amazing Capri Designs! This line and collaboration is truly a dream come true for me and I'm excited to tell you more about it. I'm also opening up my own online shop today, directly on my website, to make these beauties available to you!
Today I wanted to share a little bit of the behind the scenes of the creation of my latest fabric collection, Flower Shop.
My Flower Shop Collection with Blend Fabrics is a pen and ink study of botanicals where bold black and white blooms pop against a pink and aqua canvas. Watercolor details adorn ikats and iron-gate prints in pink, grey, lime, blue and black, coordinating effortlessly with darling dots and stripes. These hand-painted patterns capture the lovliness of a corner flower shop.
Merry Christmas to you! I hope you and your loved ones have a wonder-filled Christmas this year. May there be moments for new memories and may the joy of old memories fill your heart as you think of those who are not with you this year. This year, I'm wishing all of us Peace on Earth and good will towards all.
I also want to wish you a happy New Year too! The start of a new year is my favorite time of the year. Here's to 2016! May it be prosperous in life and in your heart. Thank you for swinging by this year. It's been a joy sharing my journey with you.
Happiest of holidays to you and yours!
Today I'm excited to share with you that I've added some NEW art prints to my Etsy shop! I'm starting out with 4 of my favorites that I've created this past year. If you follow me on Instagram, you may be familiar with some of the images.
Over this past year, I've been working on "expanding" by creating more artwork with traditional media. I've been having a blast exploring, creating and growing and have been receiving lots of positive feedback on my work (thank you!).
I've also wanted to be able to connect with you directly in more and more ways. One of those ways is to expand my Etsy shop and offer art prints that would be beautiful for your home.
It's been a busy time as I've been working away getting ready for Surtex 2015! I'm so excited to attend this year and to meet with many of you!
This year I've been working on expanding my artistic style to include more traditional media such as watercolor, collage and hand-lettering. It's been exciting and therapeutic at the same time.
This will be my 5th year at Surtex, and this year I'll be attending and meeting with Licensee's and Manufacturer's in my agent, MHS Licensing's, booth #424.
If you are a Licensee or Manufacturer interested in viewing my portfolio of work, please contact MHS Licensing for an appointment soon, as they are filling up fast!
Friends, artists and exhibitors - I'll see you there!
These paintings are from the flora & fauna series I painted and showcased in my local downtown Seattle Anthropologie back in April of 2014.
I've teamed up with a local fine art company who has professionally scanned my work and prints gorgeous giclées for me. Their ability to capture every single brush stroke and nuance of color translates beautifully to the high quality giclée prints, which use archival inks and paper. Available in a variety of sizes for different budgets and frame sizes. When you purchase a giclée, it goes to support 2 small businesses (love!).
My paintings are also licensed by Oopsy Daisy for a wider variety of print options! Their gorgeous giclées offer a large white border around them, so you don't need to worry about getting a mat for your frame, and they also offer printed canvas options as well as framed options as well! Perfect if you want to purchase it ready to hang!
We each have something different to offer based on your wall art needs.
I invite you to head on over to my Etsy shop to check out my painted works as well as Oopsy Daisy's shop. To find and shop for other licensed products of mine, please visit the Shop page on my website.
Which painting is your fave?
Are there more items you'd like to see in my Etsy shop? I'd love to hear from you!
With Christmas just around the corner, I wanted to share with you my paper tableware collections with Design Design that are gracing shelves this holiday season. I absolutely love how these designs translated to these products, with the coordinating patterns and use of metallic ink - they just look exquisite and full of festive fun!
My sweater patterns and decked out deer make up the "Warm Wishes" and "Warm Wishes-Deer" paper tableware collection which also includes coasters, magnets and list pads.
My "Poinsettia Blooms" paper tableware collection features gold metallic ink which adds a beautiful elegance.
My"Happy Holidays"collection allows you to celebrate in style with a fresh take on type - and the silver metallic ink adds an extra special touch!
These collections are available to purchase online with the links above, or you can find them in stores such as Papyrus in your area.
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!
