Uppercase Compendium Feature

I received my UPPERCASE Compendium of Craft & Creativity this week! What an absolute delight. To top it off, as I was flipping through, admiring the gorgeous work of so many talented artists and crafters, I was pleasantly surprised to see my work featured in it! I seriously had no idea I had "made the cut" when I submitted my work months ago. What an absolute honor and treat to be included in this stellar publication.

What is the Compendium, you ask? The Compendium book, compiled by UPPERCASE, the quarterly print magazine for the creative and curious, is a whopping 384 pages and features 66 makers, crafters and artisans. It's an inch thick! It collects the most inspiring work of the past few years into a beautiful print publication. Rich with stories of the makers, it includes interviews, studio tours and delves into the creative process. Much like UPPERCASE's Work/Life directory of illustration series pushed the illustration annual to a new level of quality content, the UPPERCASE Compendium of Craft & Creativity informs and inspires.

Do you have a copy yet? If not, you can pick up the gorgeous Compendium book for $22 on the UPPERCASE Magazine website. I promise you will be delighted and inspired. The photography is gorgeous as well as the paper and quality of the book. What makes this even more enjoyable is reading the thoughtful stories of each of the creatives – from their process to their thoughts on running their own businesses, their studios and more. It's a true gem!
